Queen Bed- Private Bath

Terracotta Room

If you are looking for privacy, this is the best option. Terracotta is the only room that has a private bathroom. And it has ample space for your belongings to spread out. The room is over 350 sq/ft with a queen size bed. It will fit a roll in bed should there be a child traveling with you for an additional charge.

King Four Poster with Day Bed

This room was the original master bedroom of the house. A spacious 325 square foot room contains a beautiful king bed with a single day bed for an additional guest. All the trim on the doors and fireplace are authentic. The room fits three guests comfortably and has a double view; the park and mountain to the east and the brook to the south.

Our red room is one of two first floor rooms and the last of our collection of rooms that have a day bed. The beautiful red color portrays power and success which is great luck for any competitive guests staying here. Also, the room shares a window with our namesake, the brook.

Feeling blue? This room will put a smile on your face, from top to bottom. A working gas fireplace and original trim make this room one of our most romantic. There is even a secret cabinet from the 1800's still in the room and the 250 square feet is plenty of space for 2.

The color and authentic wall covering and enormous TV makes this room feel like the 1800's met an Iphone. A tasteful blend of the best both eras have to offer, the gas fireplace warms the room (and your heart) quickly and efficiently.

Our 3 bathrooms all have full sized showers and plenty of space to put your toiletries! With only 7 guestrooms sharing 3 bathrooms, that's... um... well, we are not math majors but roughly 2 guest rooms each share a bathroom. Before our guests arrive we look at who will be staying with us and assign the bathrooms evenly between our guests.

Great Room et al.

Our great room is the largest gathering area in the house. This is where you can eat your breakfast, grab a snack, some coffee, and candy. It has a comfortable sitting area with a couch and chairs as well as a fireplace.

The entry foyer has our collection of baseball and sports memorabilia in homage to Cooperstown.

The landing living room has a sitting area and a collection of board games for your enjoyment.

The kitchen is where our magic happens and you are all welcome to grab a seat at the breakfast bar while Matthew prepares the country continental breakfast.

All of our guests are also welcome to relax on our front porch and to walk around the backyard lot and garden as well.
